Clovelly Recordings Ltd. is a recording
and distribution company formed in 1993 by a team of engineers,
editors and administrators primarily to assist the Royal National
Lifeboat Institution to raise funds through its sales of recordings. Clovelly has worked closely with Mr Brian Williams and the RNLI Music Division over the years during which time large sums of money have been raised for the charity.
Throughout the 1990s, most Clovelly
recordings were made at Abbey Road Studios, London with occasional
albums made at Sony Studios and on location. Clovelly
specialises in military bands, nautical music and musicals.
In 2005 the company went into partnership with St Edmund's Catholic School in Dover where a brand new recording studio has been built to provide a large professional facility for recordings in
a wide range of styles, including, pop, orchestral, wind band, big band and speech. More information about the studio can be found by hitting this link.
