Bob has 16 years experience working in two of the world's top studios. A highly successful and versatile sound engineer with a unique ability to work with all forms of music from Military and Brass bands, Bach Masses to Jazz to Garage Two Step. He is a very experienced 5.1 (surround) engineer, with the benefit of having worked in two of the finest recording studios in the world; EMI Abbey Road Studios and Sony Music Studios, London. Bob is now the Chief Sound Engineer at The Royal Scottish Academy of Music in Glasgow.

Has Successfully:
- Pioneered high bit rate hard disk mastering at EMI Abbey Road Studios
- Produced and engineered many outstanding recordings in both the classical and jazz fields
- Mastered and edited CDs for some of the most famous musicians in the world.
- Designed and equipped the first 5.1 mastering room in Sony Music Studios, London
- Worked closely with Sony BPE in the development of the Sonoma DSD hard disk editor.

Experienced in both studio and location recording, and has also worked as sound engineers for live performances. He has many CD and DVD credits, including numerous military band, choral recordings and those recordings listed below.
