John Perkins (Producer & MD of Clovelly)

John, a former Director of Music in the Royal Marines, has been the MD of Clovelly Recordings Ltd since 1993. He has combined this work with a parallel career as a freelance conductor and violinist.

John is available to help with all aspects of the recording process from initial ideas through to finished recordings delivered to your door.

John is also available to act as Producer for your sessions

Ken Peers (Resident sound engineer at Dover)

Ken is a highly experienced sound engineer and digital editor, having worked on major recording projects from London's Royal Albert Hall to recordings of bands, groups and choirs around the country.

He has been the lead engineer for the Royal Marines for 20 years and has recently taken up the post as Principal Engineer at the Clovelly Studios in Dover. Ken is able to advise on all aspects of the recording process and give a fairly accurate guide as to how long your project should take and what recording options are available at the studios.

Graham Harvey (Arts Development Officer
St Edmund's Catholic School)

Graham joined St Edmund’s in 1990 as a music teacher.  Since retiring in 2004 as Head of Performing Arts, Graham has taken on the part-time role as Arts Development Officer for the school and community. It was Graham's idea to build a new recording studio as the capital spend project for the new Performing Arts College, something from which not only the school would benefit but also the community at large. His first task is to be project manager for the building of the studio and negotiate the partnership with Clovelly. Graham’s continuing role will be in visiting schools in the area to offer them the use of St Edmund’s facilities, which will include participation in joint workshops in Dance, Drama & Music, St Edmund’s first Summer Music School and theatre projects in the school.
