The Band of the Dragoon Guards

The band was formed on 1st August 1994 in Paderborn, Germany, following a major reorganisation of British Army Music. The Band is renowned for the quality of its music, visual splendour and precision drill. The modern day band has only recently returned from the Gulf region having served with 1 Close Support Medical Regiment on operations in the recent conflict against Iraq, so they know better than most how to pay tribute to those who served in World War 2. This is a stirring recording with excellent playing and well thought out programme of music.
