The Band of HM Royal Marines, Plymouth
The Royal Marines bands, under the direction of Lt Col Waterer, played a
major part in the ceremonial of this second International Festival of the
Sea, which took place in the historic setting of Portsmouth Dockyard in
August 2001. The music, prerecorded by the Plymouth Band, was in fact played
at the Festival by the massed bands of Portsmouth and Britannia Royal Naval
College.
