This selection of music is unusual as it combines in a single disc some of the finest recordings of the Band of The Royal Marines School of Music with a major massed bands performance recorded at the unforgettable 1968 Royal Tournament in the Earls Court Arena London.
Selected are a spread of recordings from the 1960s with an emphasis on marches played in concert and by the massed bands on parade, but something for everyone is added including two songs by the fine English baritone Fredrick Harvey.
