The Band of HM Royal Marines School of Music
This magnificent CD consists of some of the best recordings produced by the Royal Marines Band Service, notably the final track, Tchaikovsky's dramatic 1812 Overture when the Royal Marines combined with the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra (conducted by Constantin Silvestri) in a remarkable recording of this work - with authentic gunfire and battle sounds provided by the Royal Horse Artillery.
